Catasauqua: St. Mary’s Church plans fall soup sale

St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will be holding a fall soup sale.

There are four different favorites to choose from: chicken noodle, beef barley, roasted pork with shredded cabbage and noodles or Italian sausage and lentil with a hint of heat.

The soups are sold by the quart and are made from scratch.

Payments and orders are due Nov. 8, and pickup will be 4:30-6 p.m. Nov. 13 in the parish center kitchen.

For prices and to place an order, contact the parish office at 610-264-0332 or kim.stmarys122@gmail.com.

An order form is available on the website at annunciationbvm.net.

Boy Scout Troop 94 will be holding the Scouting for Food campaign 8-11 a.m. Nov. 14.

Please place food donations on your porch for pickup. These donations benefit the Catasauqua Community Food Bank.

Don’t forget about the Catasauqua High School band and chorus ongoing hoagie and sandwich fundraiser.

The groups are selling hoagies and sandwiches from Island Expressions to help fund their performance tour, scheduled for spring 2022 in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Orders go in on the first Tuesday of the month, with the next one being Nov. 3, and they come in the following Tuesday.

Email catasauquamusicarts@gmail.com to request a menu of the hoagies or sandwiches you can order, or you can call Sherri at 610-264-1394 with any questions.

Your order will be delivered to you.
