Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., will be hosting a community prayer gathering 7-8 p.m. Nov. 2.

This event will not feature a sermon or a regular church service. The only offering will be the prayers offered for the heart, soul and future of the nation on the eve of the general election.

All faiths and political affiliations are welcome. There will be no mention of political candidates, parties or platforms.
