The Parkland cross country teams improved to 3-0 this season with 15-50 wins over Allen last week.

Trojan senior Brooke Labenberg led the way in the girls race, finishing in 20:48 with classmate Ava Bendetti in second place at 21:07. Rounding out Parkland’s top five were sophomore Jessica Price in third place, senior Lauren Williams in fourth place and sophomore Zoe Patselas in fifth.

In the boys race, senior Benjamin Esquieres took first place in 17:31, just seven seconds ahead of teammate and classmate Josh Beltrame (17:38). Sophomore Brady Hoffman finished third overall, freshman Paul Abeln took fourth place and junior Cameron Price rounded out the scoring for the Trojans.
