Upper Macungie Township is inviting the community to the Breinigsville Park Bridge ribbon cutting ceremony 11 a.m. Oct. 23.

“By having this event, we hope to highlight the progress made in connecting trails in Upper Macungie Township, as well as show the township’s commitment to future trail expansion,” Upper Macungie Township Recreation and Events Coordinator Lynn Matula said. “We will also be taking this opportunity to thank the organizations involved in this project and our future trail plans.”

According to Matula, the bridge does not have an official address.

“We suggest entering the following address in your GPS in order to arrive at the end of Avocet Drive; 1238 Avocet Drive, Breinigsville, PA 18031,” she stated. “An Upper Macungie Township staff member will help direct parking and show attendees the direction to walk to the bridge.”
