The Northampton cross country teams split a recent meet with Liberty. The girls lost to the Hurricanes 26-29 while the boys won by the same score of 26-29.

On the boys side, Zeke Colyer again had a good run, but came in second to Liberty’s Cole Frank who won with a time of 16:07. Colyer’s second place time was 16:21.

The Kids Owen Nahf took third in 16:55 followed by Liberty’s Emrick Leshko in 17:43.

But the Kids had James Breslin take fifth and Wyatt Poniktera take sixth to help them earn the win. Breslin’s time was 17:47 and Poniktera’s time was 17:49.

On the girls side, Emily Jobes of Liberty won the race with a time of 19:50. The Kids Georgia Wiswesser was second in 20:22. Liberty’s Madison Drager was third in 20:28 while the Kids Amber Poniktera took fourth in 20:31. The Hurricane’s Ella Scott was fifth in 20:59.
