Halloween book sale Oct. 17

In celebration of Halloween, the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library will host an outdoor book sale on the library grounds 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17.

Books will be arranged by categories – biography, history, mystery, romance, general fiction and cookbooks.

The Friends will sell shoppers brown bags for $10 and shoppers may purchase more than one bag.

Shoppers may fill each bag with their choice of:

• five hardback books

• four hardbacks and two paperbacks

• three hardbacks and four paperbacks

• two hardbacks and six paperbacks

• one hardback and eight paperbacks

• 10 paperbacks

These are the same high-quality books shoppers have come to expect from the traditional sale hosted by The Friends of the Emmaus Public Library.

Tables will be spaced 6-feet apart. Social distancing must be practiced. Gloves will be provided to shoppers. Masks must be worn at the sale. In the spirit of the season, Halloween costumes are optional.

The rain date for the sale is Oct. 18.

All proceeds will benefit the Emmaus Public Library.
