Dear Editor:

In late 2015 or early 2016, I watched a talk show with Donald Trump on as a guest expressing a desire to run for president.

I was a life-long Democrat at the time but was moved by Trump’s presence.

I decided if he ran for president that I would vote for him. The one main reason: he was not a politician; he was a businessman.

I figured that if he could become a billionaire as a businessman, he could really be successful as president. I feel that I was right.

He did a lot for our country in 2016 and I feel that he kept most of the promises that he made. I am now a Republican and am hoping that President Trump makes it to another term as president.
