The Whitehall High School Class of 1970 reunion committee has regretfully made the decision to cancel the events originally planned for Oct. 31, based on the current uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic and the limit of 25 people permitted for indoor events.

The new date to celebrate the Class of 1970’s 51st reunion will be Sept. 25, 2021. The event will be held at Iron Lakes Country Club, Allentown.

The Class of 1970 was recognized during the virtual graduation of the Class of 2020 held in June. Two scholarships were awarded - one to a student attending Lehigh University and the other to a student attending technical school.

The reunion committee, consisting of Dianne Gable Rennig, Donna Miller Scholtis, George Anthony, Jeanne Strisovsky Weiser, John Tremblay, Lois Yandrisevits Sobchack, Lorie Panik Sugra, Phyllis Molchany Brader and Rosemary Wiessner Geos, hopes everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time.
