Dorney Park contributes to local COVID fight

Photo contributed by Dorney Park Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom presented a check recently for $15,000 to Lehigh Valley Health Network to benefit its COVID-19 Emergency Fund. The money was raised during Dorney Park's Drive-in Fireworks event held July 4. “It's not about making a donation; it's about making a difference – especially during these unprecedented times,” said park Vice President and General Manager Michael Fehnel. “Through our partnership with LVHN, the health and safety of our associates and guests are elevated, and now we had the opportunity to give back in a great way and help fight this global pandemic crisis, together. We are proud of the way the community came together to enjoy a July 4 tradition in support of the LVHN COVID-19 Emergency Fund.” ABOVE: From left: Lou Puentes, vice president of operations and public Safety, LVHN; Terry Burger, RN, administrator of infection control and prevention, LVHN; Tana Korpics, manager of PR and communications, Dorney Park; Jane Wrisley, vice president of philanthropy, LVHN; Officer Luis Perez, chief of patrol, Dorney Park.
