Retail theft

Kristie Ellen Sallada, 42, of Emmaus, allegedly took possession of items valued at $232.99 at Health Spectrum Pharmacy, 1202 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., July 20, according to Salisbury police. Sallada was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Warrant

A 26-year-old male, of Glibertsville, was taken into custody by Salisbury police on an arrest warrant. He was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Assists

Salisbury police officers assisted the Upper Saucon Township Police Department with an incident July 21 in which an armed suspect was inside a residence. Salisbury officers assisted at the scene as the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Salisbury police assisted the Eastern Salisbury Township Fire Department with a small controlled burn in the area of 1600 Broadway July 20.

Scam

A resident of the 1700 block of Acker Street told police a virus alert, along with an 800 number, appeared on her computer screen. The resident told police she was asked to send a $100 eBay card to have the virus corrected. The resident reported then two withdrawals totaling $29,000 were made from her account. The incident was reported July 20.

Identity theft

A resident of the 2200 block of East Ellsworth Street told Salisbury police her personal information was used to apply for unemployment benefits. The incident was reported July 21.

A complainant reported her personal information was used to create a PPL Electric Utilities account in 2012. The incident was reported July 22.

Fraud

A resident of the 2200 block of Melrose Lane reported multiple withdrawals and transfers were made from her bank accounts. The situation was reported July 22.
