LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Q & A...with BC’s Nick Greenawalt

Nick Greenawalt will be attending King’s college and will play volleyball there.

Q: Now that the news of the spring season being over has had time to sink in, what are your thoughts or emotions about not being able to play your senior year?

A: “Hearing the news was sad knowing I won’t get to play with the guys anymore or get a chance to have another run in state playoffs. Even though I knew it would be a long shot we had a season because of the outbreak, it was still a sad feeling when I got the official news.”

Q: What were you looking forward to the most this season?

A: “This season I was looking forward to all the memories I’d make with my teammates and getting a chance to win championships.”

Q: What activity do you find yourself doing the most during quarantine?

A: “During quarantine I’ve spent a lot of time playing PS4 and sleeping.”

Q: What do you miss most about normal life?

A: “I miss the opportunity to hang out with my friends and see other people besides my family.”

Q: If you had the choice to be stuck at home with any teammate(s) during this quarantine, who would they be and why?

A: “That’s a hard choice to make. I like all of my teammates and they all have very different personalities so it’s hard to pick just one.”

Q: Can you name your favorite movie, show or series you’ve watched over the past month?

A: “I enjoyed watching “The Tiger King” series on Netflix during quarantine.”

Q: What’s the worst part about being stuck at home?

A: “The worst part is when it’s a nice sunny day and I’m forced to stay in the house.”

Q: “What’s the first thing you want to do once this quarantine is over?

A: “See all my friends again.”

Q: Can you tell your favorite sports story about yourself, your team or your teammates over the years?

A: “Last season we upset the #8 team in the state in the first round of PIAA playoffs. We played great all around as a team, and I had a career high 24 kills during that game. It was great seeing our whole team play that well together and showed we could beat anyone when we played our best. Would have been nice to prove that again this year.”

Q: What lesson(s) have you learned throughout this whole process?

A: “During this whole process I learned not to take anything for granted. Anything can be taken from you at any time so enjoy it while you can.”
