Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, is postponing its basket raffle and cash bingo events.

Due to the current concerns surrounding COVID-19, Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, will be canceling all church activities effective immediately through March 21. The church will revisit resuming events on this date.

Additionally, Christ UCC is canceling the March 28 bazaar and the April 4 dinner.

Parishioners are encouraged to lean toward God during this time and be thankful for all they have been given.

Remain calm, enjoy your family, use common sense if you aren’t feeling well and try to check in on neighbors and others around you.

As of press time, Moore Township Athletic Association will hold its next monthly meeting 8 p.m. April 1 in the all-purpose room of Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive.

Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, is postponing fisherman’s spring raffle, originally scheduled for March 22.

Also, the club has canceled the March 27 a block shoot.
