The designer purse bingo, scheduled for March 29 at East Allen Township Volunteer Fire Department, has been canceled.

If you purchased tickets already, you may request a refund, exchange your ticket for a variety bingo ticket planned for Nov. 8 or make a donation to the fire department.

East Allen Township Parks and Recreation Department will soon begin its Walk This Way to Better Health community walking club. The free program will be held 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting April 7, at Bicentennial Park West.

This is open to all ages and all abilities.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, will hold a 50th anniversary service 9 a.m. April 26.

Bishop Rev. Samuel R. Zeiser will be a special guest. The choir, orchestra and bell and chime choirs will perform.

A fellowship hour will follow.

A community yard sale event is planned for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 16 at Bicentennial Park East, East Allen Township.
