North Catasauqua: 2019 projects helping borough

Marc Hildebrand, president of the North Catasauqua Betterment Committee, reports he is looking forward to the 2020 season.

“We would like to thank all of our volunteers and sponsors for their help and donations for the 2019 season,” he said. “With your help, we were able to do many things for the borough of North Catasauqua: flowers for the park and borough hall, 70 new American flags, a donation toward a defibrillator and active-shooter kits for the police department, additional electricity installed at the park, electric drops for the snowflakes on PPL poles and custom North Catasauqua banners totaling over $18,000. With your help of volunteering and sponsoring, we hope to be able to do more for the borough in the coming year.”

Residents interested in volunteering with the betterment committee should send an email to ncbetterment@gmail.com.

The next big event is the annual carnival, slated for June 10-13.
