Joan E. Cochrane, 81, formerly of Macungie, died Dec. 23, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Cedar Crest. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William E. Clauberg and Mary E. (McInerney) Clauberg.

She was employed as a waitress for several restaurants before retiring.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She enjoyed jazz music festivals, crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy and the music of Frank Sinatra.

She is survived by daughters, Lauren and her husband, Thomas Ganser, of Slatington, Tracey Masenheimer and her husband, Chris Loch, of New Tripoli; son, Thomas and his wife, Kim, of Conway, S.C.; grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan, Timothy, Sean, Hannah and Emily; brothers, William Clauberg, of Las Vegas, Nev., Alfred Clauberg, of Shirley, N.Y. She was predeceased by a grandson, Ian Beecher.
