Leona M. Groman, 96, of North Catasauqua, died Oct. 30, 2019, at her home. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Groman.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Paul G.D. and Catherine (Schwindenhammer) Seyfried.

She was a winder for the former Cands Fabrics, Catasauqua, for 30 years until she retired in 1976.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, where she was a member of the newsletter team.

She is survived by a sister, Catherine “Cass” Bogarosh of North Catasauqua; nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; great-great nieces; and great-great nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Agnes M. Bodnar; and two brothers, George D. and Paul Seyfried.
