Reno L. Gogel, 79, of Whitehall and formerly of Northampton, died Oct. 22, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Gogel Sr.
Born in Rockville, Lehigh Township, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Agnes (Mae) Hess.
She was employed in the custodial services department of the Northampton Area School District, retiring in 1999.
An active member of Salem United Methodist Church, Danielsville, she volunteered with the ladies group providing senior lunches and church dinners.
She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Croix Chapter 235.
She is survived by three daughters, Loretta M., with whom she resided, Robin A. and her husband the Rev. Derrick Miliner of Laurel, Md., and Lisa J. and her husband Stephen Bissell of Laurys Station; three sons, Robert E. Jr. and his wife Stacy and Phillip J. and his wife Val, all of Danielsville, and Lewis D. and his wife Melissa of Cherryville; six grandchildren, Claire, Kate, Cale, Robert, Sara and Grace; a sister, Barbara Kresge; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by a three sisters, Minerva Latshaw, Bernice Wanamaker and an infant sister; and six brothers, Willard, Carl, Dorson, John, Donald and Arthur.
