James Julius Mayer, 42, of Blandon, died Oct. 20, 2019, in his residence.

He was the son of Glenn J. and the late Virginia (Seaman) Mayer.

He was a 1996 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School.

He was employed by Verizon for 15 years.

In addition to his father, he is survived by a stepmother, Debbie of Lehighton; two brothers, David G. and his wife Amanda of Hellertown and John E., of Allentown; and three nieces, Andrea, Makenzie and Anna.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, 18037, and the family will donate to a charity of its choice at a later date.
