Phyllis J. Graeff, 73, of Whitehall, died Sept. 29, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Thomas A. Graeff for 55 years.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Shappell) Kalbach.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt, for more than 20 years before retiring.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and bowled with leagues in the Lehigh Valley.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Karen L. and her husband James Stettler of Orefield; two sons, John J. and his wife Rebecca of Kutztown, and Stephen W. and his wife Leanh of Fogelsville; a sister, Patricia Cheeseman of Kernhurst; a brother, William and his wife Debra Kalbach of Coplay; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
