Joan H. Dergosits, 96, of Walnutport and formerly of New York, died Oct. 4, 2019, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Frank F. Dergosits.

Born in Northamptonshire, Wellingborough, England, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Nellie (Haldane) George.

She was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church, Allentown.

She was a former Girl Scout leader for many years when living in New York.

She is survived by a son, John of Walnutport; a daughter, Joanna and her husband Steve Nasset of Junction City, Ore.; a sister, Ruby Atkins of London, England; two grandchildren, Steven and Lauren and her husband Gregory Schaefer; and two great-grandchildren, Gregory and Lisette.

She was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis.
