Faye Ethel McKeever Baylor

Faye Ethel McKeever Baylor, of Whitehall, died Oct. 15, 2019. She was the wife of the late Earl Baylor for 66 years.

Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Eldridge and Ethel (Vaughn) McKeever.

She was a 1946 Whitehall High School graduate, where she was the class salutatorian, and a 1949 graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a cardiac rehabilitation nurse for Allentown Hospital. She helped to open the rehab center affiliated with Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, from which she retired in 1991.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where she sang with the choir, was on the visitation committee, taught Bible school and was a member of the prayer chain.

She volunteered at Gockley Elementary School. She was a chaplain with the Whitehall Exchangette Club and was a member of the Whitehall AARP and senior citizen clubs.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen with Steve and Patti with Rich; a son, Todd with Connie; four grandchildren, Michael with Loran, Meaghan, Rachel with Dave and Ty; and two great-granddaughters, Haley and Emma.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Michae.

There will be a funeral service 10 a.m. Oct. 30 in the Zentz Center, Fellowship Community, 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, 18052.
