We Sing! is hosting the ninth annual North Catasauqua community yard sale, flea market and vendor sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. June 8 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

The rain date is June 22.

The chorus will provide the advertising, location and attraction of a community sale.

To reserve a 10-foot space for your merchandise, call 610-264-1225 or email NorthCataWeSing@aol.com for the cost and details. Set up 6:30-7:30 a.m., and depart by 3 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch food will be available for purchase.

The entry deadline is June 6.

The 13th annual North Catasauqua small Town USA carnival, presented by North Catasauqua Betterment Committee, will bring fun and entertainment to North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park 6 p.m. nightly, June 12-15.

The fun will include live music, carnival rides, games, a raffle, an appearance by TIP the Crayola Crayon and a food court. Thursday and Saturday evenings are family nights.

Before the carnival opens, four-day wristbands may be purchased at borough hall.

The betterment committee is looking for volunteers for this upcoming event. Volunteer for as little as an hour or more if you like.

Volunteer positions are available for all ages. No experience necessary - just a smile!

This is a perfect opportunity to get volunteer hours for church, work or school or just to give back to the community.
