Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop is having a bag sale on everything in the store until March 16.

Normal business hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Donations of good, used clean clothing are accepted during store hours.

The store will be closed the week of March 25 for cleaning and seasonal changeover, re-opening April 1 with all new clothing for spring and summer.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Porter Chapman Lodge will host an afternoon of bingo games 3 p.m. April 28. Doors will open 1 p.m.

The lodge is located at 1103 N. Sixth St.

The event will feature cash prizes and Grumpy’s Roadhouse barbecue.

Proceeds will benefit the lodge’s fraternal and charity activities.
