Award-winning magician Ron Schaffer will entertain at the Feb. 27 meeting of Catty Seniors Plus. A magician for 30 years, Schaffer is the coordinator for Home Care Assistance of Lehigh Valley.

The meeting will take place at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1223 Fifth St. Doors open noon, and the meeting begins 1 p.m.

This month’s meeting is open to members only. Doughnuts will be served, and members are asked to bring a donation for the Catasauqua Community Food Bank.

There will be a cash bingo and basket raffle 1-4 p.m. March 2 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

The event, which will include lunch, benefits Dave Kline, owner of Kline’s Auto Service, who is battling cancer.

Mark your calendar for the annual springtime bingo event at the Porter Chapman Lodge scheduled for 3 p.m. April 28. Doors will open 1 p.m.

The lodge is located at 1103 Sixth St.

The event will feature cash prizes and Grumpy’s Roadhouse barbecue.
