Elizabeth L. “Betty” Sober, 92, of Macungie, died June 18, 2018, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of Clare L. Sober. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Lillian (Heller) Moyer.

A graduate of Allentown High School, she attended Grove City College and Cedar Crest College. She worked as a secretary in the financial field.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown where she taught Sunday school. She was a volunteer in the Junior Aides and Allentown Hospital Auxiliary. Her hobbies included gardening and golf and she love spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Jann DeChristopher (Frank), of New Tripoli, Susan Everett, of Alburtis, Sally Krznaric (Richard), of Cranberry, Pamela Ring (Frank), Jeannette; stepchildren, Linda Parsons (Roy), of Celine, Mich., James (Michele), of Carbondale, Colo.; grandchildren, Tony, Sef, Jason and Kyle DeChristopher, Kristi (Krznaric) Olney, Kacy (Krznaric) Burge, Bradley Ring, Brittany (Ring) Ruffner, Harmony (Parsons) Hoekzema, Eric Parsons, Neil and Ryan; 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 10 a.m. June 30 at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. Calling hour is 9 a.m. until service time.
