Cheryl L. Hoffert, 69, of Salisbury Township, died June 19, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest. She and her husband, Robert C. “Gus” Hoffert, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Jean E. (Walper) Miller. She was a 1966 graduate of Dieruff High School, Allentown. She worked as a secretary for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, WAEB radio station and KidsPeace.

She was a member of Grace UCC Church, Allentown, where she also served as secretary. She loved to read and crochet.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Kimberly S., of Salisbury Township; sisters, Pamela L. Wert, of Emmaus and Karen A. Lore and her husband William, of Macungie; one granddaughter, Alyssa M. Missmer and her husband Brett Grugan, of Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace UCC Christian Fund, at the church, 18013.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. June 30 at Grace UCC, 623 Cleveland St., Allentown.
