Warren J. Hunsberger, 97, of Emmaus, died June 17, 2018, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. He was the husband of the late Doris J. (Heater) Hunsberger after 62 years of marriage. Born in Alburtis, he was the son of the late William and Ida (Fogel) Hunsberger.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus, where he served as an usher and served on the church council.

He was a charter member of the Alburtis Lions Club and a former member of both the Emmaus Kiwanis Club and Alburtis Borough Council.

He is survived by daughters, Mary A. Nelson, Sally D. and Nancy J.; grandson, Peter Nelson and his wife, Shannon; great-grandsons, Chase and Grant Nelson. He was predeceased by a brother, William Jr. and a sister, Florence E. (Hunsberger) Moyer.
