Motorcycle enthusiasts rally to battle addiction

Alburtis Park and Alburtis Fire Company recently hosted the second annual Wheels for H.O.P.E. event. It was a motorcycle event geared toward aiding in the recovery of those addicted to heroin and opiates. H.O.P.E. is an acronym for Heroin Opioid Prevention Education.

Proceeds from the event benefited the Center for Humanistic Change, Allentown.

The event included a road rally, guest speakers, vendors, a catered lunch, presentations and performances by the Chelsea Lyn Meyer band, Girl Crue, Scott Marshall and Marshall’s Highway, Kristen Morgenstern, Werner and Julia Sommer and James Supra.
