Lehigh Township Lioness Club will be holding a basket party April 29 at the Roosevelt Democratic Club, 3980 Mountain View Drive, Danielsville.

Doors are open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Winners will be drawn 3:15 p.m., and you do not need to be present to win.

There will be refreshments and a bake sale.

In addition to a sampling of soups, there will be salad, dessert and beverages.

The youth group at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, will host bingo, featuring Vera Bradley bags as prizes, May 5.

Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo starts 12:30 p.m.

In addition to bingo, there will be a Chinese auction, door prizes and five specials. The kitchen will be open.
