Lehigh Township Historical Society is holding a basket social 1-4 p.m. April 8 at Blue Mountain Fish and Game, 4190 Wood Drive, Walnutport.

The kitchen will be open. The basket drawings will begin 4 p.m. Winners will be notified by phone if not present.

Proceeds benefit the Lehigh Township Historical Centre and St. Paul’s Schoolhouse maintenance.

Many beautiful baskets will be raffled off April 13 during the 20th annual spring basket social at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

The walk-in social will start 4 p.m., and the drawing will begin 7:30 p.m. Winners will be notified via phone call that same evening.

In honor of the 20th anniversary, there will be door prizes.

Delicious homemade foods, baked goods and other refreshments will also be offered for purchase.

The proceeds will benefit Northampton Area Food Bank and Hope Lutheran Good Samaritan Fund.
