Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville, will be holding an autism respite 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 14.
This is an event for children, 2 to 21 years old, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as their siblings with or without a diagnosis.
The respite program provides parents a four-hour break, while their child enjoys a day full of fun.
Respite care helps maintain family stability and provides opportunities for the child to participate in social activities.
This is a free event, but all children must be registered. Contact Michele Kehlor at 484-221-3046 or mkehlor@yahoo.com.
