Allen/East Allen townships: St. Peter’s UCC plans soup, salad dinner

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 8142 Valley View Road, Seemsville, will host an all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar 4-7 p.m. Feb. 24.

There is a cost.

Desserts, coffee, tea and water, as well as take-out quarts of soup, will also be available for purchase.

Reminder: Lappawinzo Fish and Game will hold a breakfast 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 18 at the club, 25 Lappawinzo Road.

East Allen Township is seeking counselors for its summer camp.

Applicants must be in college or their senior year of high school and be able to work 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. June 18-Aug. 3, Monday through Friday, with no time off.

East Allen Township Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its 2018 spring sports programs. T-ball and baseball are available for boys ages 5 to 14.

All baseball teams will participate in the NAA House League/Parkland Youth League.

Soccer is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 16. All soccer teams will participate in the Northern Valley Youth Soccer League.

Coaches and their assistants provide the township with both an ACT 34 clearance by Pennsylvania State Police and a state child abuse history clearance.

Registration is underway at the municipal building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
