St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., and St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, are hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt April 8 at the Falcon Pavilion at the Upper Macungie Park, Route 100, Fogelville. Rain date is April 15.

Registration begins 9:15 a.m. The hunt starts at 10 a.m.

Infants up to and including sixth grade youngsters are invited to participate.

Goody bags will be given to all participants.

The Busy Bees at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, is accepting orders for their hoagie sale with choice of either ham or Italian. Orders are due by April 9. Pickup on April 19.

Ziegels Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt 2 p.m. April 8 for children age 1 to sixth grade. This hunt will be held rain or shine.

Refreshments will be served in the grove following the egg hunt.

Volunteers at Good Will Fire Company No. 1, 7723 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown, will be cooking breakfast 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 9 at the fire company.

Meal includes two eggs, choice of two meats (bacon, ham, sausage or Mackerel) and one to three pancakes.

Robert M. Fegely VFW Post 8282, 1522 Butz Road, Breinigsville, will be having an all-you-can-eat buffet-style breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 2.

Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, beverages and more. Discounts offered to senior citizens and veterans.

Friends of the Parkland Community Library is sponsoring a day trip May 2 to Lower Manhattan.

Trip includes a visit to the observation deck of One World Trade Center and the 9/11 Memorial Park and Museum.
