Lehigh Township Athletic Association (LTAA) has scheduled a beef and beer benefit at Lehigh Township Fire Company, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, 7 p.m.-midnight Dec. 3.

Guests will enjoy food, drinks and deejay-provided music.

This is an adults-only event.

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held 5-8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Bethany Wesleyan Church. The event will benefit Raymond and Sylvia Greenzweig and is hosted by members of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Jerdon Construction Services.

Ray was recently diagnosed with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. Funds raised at the spaghetti dinner will help to pay the couple’s mortgage while he is undergoing treatment and cannot work.
