Moore Township: Mountain View Wesleyan Church to show ‘Tangled’ Sept. 24

Mountain View Wesleyan Church, 1001 Deemer Road, Bath, is hosting a children’s movie matinee 3:30-5:45 p.m. Sept. 24. The film will be “Tangled.” Snacks are provided. Parents are free to stay or drop off.

The Moore Township Historical Commission will hold an Oktoberfest-themed buffet 6:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at Gaetano’s Restaurant, located at the Southmoore Golf Course on Route 512, Bath. There will be a pork and sauerkraut buffet that includes mash potatoes, corn, salad and dessert.

Musical entertainment and a basket raffle are planned.

There is a cost. All profits from the buffet will go toward the restoration of the Edelman School.

Tickets can be bought from Dick Gable at the Moore Township Municipal Building or any of the commission members.

Moore Township is participating in the Northampton County Hazardous Household Waste recycling event 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 8 at Northampton Community College, Green Pond Campus, Bethlehem Township. Proof of residency is required. No electronics will be accepted.

Little Moore United Church of Christ, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, is hosting a fall bazaar 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 8. There will be homemade apple dumplings, baked goods, white elephant sale, lots of handmade crafts and more.
