East Allen Township’s Parks and Recreation Department is planning a bus trip to a Christmas show in Lancaster.

“Winter Wonderland” will be performed at American Music Theater 10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Dec. 3.

The bus will leave Catasauqua High School 8 a.m. and will stop for lunch 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Shady Maples Smorgasbord.

It will return to the high school 5:30 p.m.

Reminder: Cub Scout Pack 40 will have a sign-up night 6:45 p.m. Sept. 13 in the social hall of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville.

Meetings are held 6:45-8 p.m. every Tuesday.

This is a family-oriented program for boys in first through fifth grades. Parental involvement is a must.

Every new boy who signs up will receive a free fishing rod and reel and will be invited to a fishing event at Cub Scout camp Oct. 1.

An all-you-can-eat chicken and waffle dinner is planned for Sept. 24.

A basket social also is in the works for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 8.
