State Police Troop M Fogelsville say $500 was stolen from Bear Rock Junction, 8181 Route 309, Lynn Township just before 5 a.m. July 10.

Police say a log was thrown through a window at the amusement area so the burglar could enter the building.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call Trooper Andrew Harris at 610-395-1438.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Ming Keang Louie, 67, of Charlotte, N.C. was stopped around 10 p.m. July 3 for an alleged traffic violation along I-78 East in Weisenberg Township.

According to police, Louie was transporting untaxed cigarettes from Virginia.

Charges were filed before District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Wendy L. Musser, 53, of Reading, was struck by a 2007 Dodge 2500 pickup driven by Mark J. Schlofer, 43, of New Tripoli, just after 7:3o p.m. July 15.

Police say Musser was directing traffic at the intersection of Routes 100 and 309, Heidelberg Township.

According to police, the pickup was traveling north in the southbound lane of Route 309 and turning left onto Route 100 southbound as Musser directed traffic.

The pickup’s front struck the back of Musser, knocking her to the ground.

After the collision, Schlofer stopped the pickup in a south-western direction, say police.

Musser sustained suspected serious injury, police say.

She was transported by Northern Valley Emergency Medical Services to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Schlofer and his 10-year-old male passenger from New Tripoli were uninjured.

Both were wearing their seat belts, police say.

Schlofer was charged regarding his duty as a driver in a construction or maintenance area or a highway safety corridors traffic violation.

Trooper Daniel Jones and Germansville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
