Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, is taking orders for dinner, prepared locally by Lorah's Farm.

Choose from barbecue chicken or pulled pork. The dinner also includes a baked potato, coleslaw, roll and dessert.

Hope's Helping Hands members will be taking orders after all church services this Sunday, May 24.

Dinners can be picked up Saturday, May 30 between 4 and 6 p.m. in the Kuntz Hall kitchen.

Hope's Helping Hands Mission Team is a group of individuals who provide both skilled and unskilled laborers for disaster response and rehabilitation projects at the local, regional and national level.

Proceeds from all fundraisers go toward ongoing work in disaster response and rehabilitation projects.

Bethany Wesleyan Church will host guest speaker Dr. Steve Lennox on Sunday, June 14, at 9 and 10:45 a.m.

Lennox is the newly elected president of Kingswood University and former staff pastor at BWC. He is also the author of several books and will be available to sign his newest book "Joshua."
