The Bath Area Fish Committee at Monocacy will hold a kids' fishing contest this Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Entry is free for all children 15 and under.

Fish stocking will take place April 17 at 4 p.m.

Donations are being accepted to purchase fish for stocking.

Donations can be sent to Bath Area Fish Committee, P.O. Box 143, Bath, PA 18014.

Volunteers and donations are needed.

Creek cleanup help is also needed.

Klecknersville Rangers Fire Co., Mountain View Drive, Bath, will hold a Longaberger basket, Coach purse bingo and auction this Sunday.

Doors open at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m.

You can purchase tickets in advance or at the door.

There will be 20 games and five specialty games.

Refreshments will be available.

Also, on Saturday, April 25, from 7 to 11 p.m., the fire company will hold its Spring Fling.

Entertainment will be provided by Social Call.

The kitchen will be open.

You must be 21. There is a small cover charge.

Bath Earth Day clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. The rain date is Saturday, May 2.

The event is sponsored by the Bath Borough Parks and Recreation Committee.

Volunteers will meet at the Keystone Park Pavilion on Green Street with their brooms, gloves, rakes and trowels. Trash bags will be provided by the borough.

All participants will receive a complimentary hot dog and soda back at the pavilion following cleanup activities.

During his retirement, he says he will remain active as a coach for Northampton Area High School's ice hockey and JV baseball teams and will enjoy spending time with his family. Cawley said of Ruff, 'I don't think Brian knows the meaning of retirement. No moss will grow under his feet.'
