Laurys Station Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 recently elected officers for 2015 Fire Company.
Charles Eckhart was named president and Jared Farkas will serve as vice president.
Robin Hood was chosen as recording secretary and Marie Hood was named financial secretary.
Eric Minford will serve as treasurer and Roderick Lowe was chaplain.
Dale French, Dale Remaley and Charles Wechsler will serve as trustees.
Also announced were fire line officers: Chief Robin Hood, First Assistant Chief Kevin Remaley, Second Assistant Chief Chris Greb, Lt. Matt Desch, Fire Police Capt. John Bull, Safety Officer Eric Minford, Training Officer Matt Desch, Truck Engineer Dale French and Marie Hood, photographer.
Logan Noll was named 2014 Firefighter of the Year, and Zach Bath was chosen as the 2014 Junior Firefighter of the Year.
In addition, Chief Hood presented Charles Wechsler with his 50-year Service Award.
Wechsler has held the rank of assistant chief, captain, vice president, and trustee for 30 years.
Rayburn Krause was presented with his 55-year Service Award.
Krause started out as a firefighter, and then was a fire police member for more than 30 years.
Fire company business meetings are 8 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.
Fire team training is 6:30 p.m. every Monday.
Volunteers are always needed.
