South Whitehall's Woodlawn Fire Department recently had an open house to kick off National Fire Prevention Week.

Additionally, Cetronia and Greenawalds fire departments displayed apparatus as well as the township Emergency Management Agency, olice and Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

Whitehall Township Fire Department brought its Safety House especially developed to teach children the best way to evacuate a home filled with smoke.

During the evening, one of Lehigh Valley Hospital's MedEvac helicopters landed to show local residents its capabilities.
