The Fresh Air Fund Lehigh Valley closed this summer's session Aug. 14. This year volunteer families hosted 90 children. Most stayed for one week; a number are return visitors. The Fresh Air Fund provides experiences in the country for children from low income families residing in New York City. The culminating activity was a picnic at the farm of Terri Wolfe, of Emmaus. As part of the festivities, host families and their young guests were treated to a presentation by Wildlands Conservancy representative Britny Kondravy.
