Parkland's golf team opened the season with wins in two matches.

On Monday, the Trojans topped East Stroudsburg North, 397-592 as Alec Swienkala and Tanner White led the way with 752 at Wolf Crossing Country Club.

Parkland swept a trimatch a day later, beating Bethlehem Catholic (421) and Pleasant Valley (423) with a team score of 389 at Blue Shamrock, formerly Blue Ridge Country Club.

Greg Zahour led the way in the trimatch, shooting one under par 71.

Parkland heads into matches this week against Liberty, Pocono Mountain East and Blue Mountain.

Next week the Trojans will play a match that could help decide the league title when they host strong Nazareth and Central Catholic teams at Iron Lakes.
