Former Trojans excel on campus
Kutztown junior Rich Lichtenwalner was impressive on the tennis court in 2013, winning 12 matches in singles play, 10 of which came at No. 4 and No. 5 positions. He won 14 additional matches in doubles play for the Golden Bears.
DeSales sophomore Jessica Wetherhold capped off a standout first season on the women's soccer team. She was tied for second on the team in points (10) and goals (4), while also adding two assists for the Bulldogs. She played in 13 games (10 starts), and fired 14 shots on goal.
Sophomore defensive specialist Callie Krajcir played in 111 sets for the West Chester volleyball team in 2013. She led the team with 449 digs in her first season; it was the most digs recorded by a Golden Ram since Lisa Campbell tallied 500 in the 2011 season.
Temple junior Rob Dvoracek played in eight games at middle linebacker last season for the Owls. He recorded 21 tackles (14 solo) to go along with three tackles for loss and three passes defended.
Junior middle hitter Lauren Siebert recorded 172 kills in 97 sets as a member of the Canisius women's volleyball team last year. For her career, she now has 221 kills and 97 total blocks in two seasons.
Erin Hillman, a junior outside hitter on the Eastern women's volleyball team, scored 209 kills in 2013, good for fifth on the team. She also recorded 62 digs and 26 assists as a sophomore.
As a freshman, libero Abby Hawk played in all but three matches on the East Stroudsburg volleyball team. In 85 sets, she recorded 92 digs-which ranks sixth on the team-and held a 1.08 dig-per-set ratio.
Hannah Gombos, a sophomore forward on the East Stroudsburg women's soccer team, played in 17 games (13 starts) as a freshman. She led the team with four assists, and scored one goal as a freshman. Her 13 shots on goal ranked fifth on the team.
Northwestern junior Kelley Stump, a midfielder/forward on the Wildcats' field hockey team, tallied a goal and two assists in 2013. She played in all 20 games (16 starts) and recorded eight shots on goal. She was an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
In her first season on the Eastern women's volleyball team, sophomore middle hitter Alicia Weigel scored 38 kills on 87 total attempts. She also recorded 15 digs and 13 blocks.
Bloomsburg junior defender Chrissy Hollan enters her third season with the Huskies women's soccer team. In 2013, she started in 11 of the 17 games she played in. In 730 minutes played, she scored one goal and recorded three shots on goal.
East Stroudsburg's Eric Burleson started 10 games at right guard for the Warriors' football team as a sophomore in 2013.
In 12 games (10 starts) on the DeSales men's soccer team in 2013, junior defender Mike Lawler played in 778 minutes of field time. He scored one goal for the Bulldogs last season, and started in 16 games on defense as a freshman.
