The Phat Boys will perform Wednesday, Aug. 6, 6:30 p.m., at the Canal Street gazebo as part of the borough's free summer concert series.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., will hold its annual garage sale Saturday, Aug. 2, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., in the social hall, located at the rear of the church, off Stewart Street.

Food will be available for purchase.

On Monday, Aug. 4, the Northampton Area Public Library, 1615 Laubach Ave., will host a talk by author/illustrator Matt Novak, who will discuss his time as a Disney animator. A talk for teens will take place at 1 p.m., followed by a talk for elementary-aged students at 2 p.m. A book signing will be held at 3 p.m.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will hold a flea market and bake sale Saturday, Aug. 9, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., at the church, 1235 Main St.

All proceeds benefit the church building fund.
