The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, together with Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association and Phoenix Forging Company, invite everyone to attend the dedication of an official state historical marker commemorating Bryden Horse Shoe Works.

The dedication is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at the Phoenix Forging Company, 800 Front St.

Get your calendars out and save the date for Catasauqua High School Class of 1966 reunion.

The Class of 1966 turns 66 tweener birthday picnic is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, at the North Catasauqua Playground at 2 p.m.

The event will include a catered meal by Cathy's Catering.

No written invitations will be sent due to postage costs. If anyone in the class has access to another classmate's information, share the date.

This will also be a BYOB event. The class will provide water, soda, mixers and of course, a birthday cake.

Deadline for payment is Aug. 31. At the event, plans for the 50th reunion will be discussed.
