The Kiwanis Club of Allentown Northeast meets Wednesdays at noon, at the Denny's restaurant on Airport Road. Anyone interested in the activities of this civic organization is welcome to attend a luncheon meeting.

The Hanover Township Council meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m., at the township building on the corner of Grove and Airport roads. The public is always encouraged to attend these meetings. The next one is Wednesday, April 2.

The next business meeting of the Han-Le-Co Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company will be 7 p.m., Sunday, April 6. Anyone interested in membership or volunteer participation in the fire company's activities is invited to attend. For more information, contact Chief Robin Yoder at 610-554-3301.

The Pennsylvania Avenue Interfaith Food Pantry, located at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, is open on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, 6-8 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. The food bank is open to anyone needing assistance with feeding a family.
