Coordinated Health, which owns three buildings at Cedarpointe Corporate Center, plans to construct a four-story, 91,200-square-foot office building at 1641 Office Center Road.

The proposal also includes 413 parking spaces on a 6.21-acre lot at the former Roma Corporate Center, on the southeast quadrant of the Walbert Avenue and Cedar Crest Boulevard intersection.

At the March 19 South Whitehall commissioners' meeting, Erin Kintzer of Macada Properties, real estate partner of Coordinated Health, explained the uses of the existing buildings on the site.

One of them is a short-stay center; another is used for examination rooms and physical therapy, while a third has extended-stay beds.

"We have parking problems," Kintzer said.

Chris Kerkusz, engineer for Cedarpointe Center, reported several land development updates are scheduled for the project.

The storm sewer system and swales will be improved, and the detention pond will be deepened for better stormwater control.

Kerkusz said an intersection on the property will be made safer with a right-turn only to Cedar Crest Boulevard.

The board approved the project.

"It is our intention to get this ready in early spring," Kintzer said.
