Report of unconscious man

Coplay Police 8:43 a.m. Saturday responded to a report of an unconscious man in the 500 block of Chestnut Street.

Police said they were able to wake the man who appeared to be intoxicated. After speaking with him, officers learned he had been drinking alcohol all night and had passed out.

EMS personnel at the scene evaluated the individual and determined he had no medical issues.

Officers later transported the individual to his residence in Whitehall.

Gas odor detected

Police responded Saturday afternoon to a report of a gas odor in the 100 block of Cherry Street.

The Coplay Fire Department responded and handled the situation accordingly.

Officers responded to loud music

Borough police Sunday evening were called to the 100 block of South Front Street to investigate a report of loud music.

Officers said they were unable to detect any music upon arriving at the residence.
