The Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., Catasauqua, will hold a half-price sale March 17-29. The shop will close for housecleaning and changeover the week of March 31 and will reopen Monday, April 7 with new clothing for spring and summer.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Donations of good, used clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store operation hours.

The Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will hold a cash bingo this Sunday starting 1 p.m.

Doors open at noon. The kitchen will be open. There will be specials as well as a Chinese auction.

Advanced tickets are available at a discount. You can also purchase your ticket at the door.
